The verdict
SLA, certifications and a full IaaS stack at UpCloud. Per-second billing, four regions and lower prices at GPUBank.
UpCloud suits European teams that want GPU VMs under Finnish jurisdiction next to managed Kubernetes, databases and object storage, with a 99.999 % SLA and ISO 27001. On the H100 SXM the prices are close today, $1.89 against $1.85, and GPUBank costs 20 to 54 % less on the B200, RTX PRO 6000 and L40S. UpCloud bills GPU plans by the started hour and charges storage and IPv4 separately, even while a server is stopped. It takes cards, PayPal and mobile wallets from a EUR 10 minimum; GPUBank takes crypto and runs GPUs in four regions where UpCloud has one.

What you see before you pay.
Both sites as a visitor sees them, without an account: the UpCloud pricing page captured on 29 September 2026, and GPUBank's live board. Cookie banners and chat bubbles are closed; nothing else is edited.

- 1The pricing page has a EUR and USD toggle, and GPU tables show a Spot Price and a Price column per server-hour and per month.
- 2H100 and B200 blocks carry a banner announcing new pricing from October 20th, and the product page already shows the higher EUR prices.
- 3The product page lists the B300 as 'Coming soon', while the pricing page already shows B300 prices.

Moving from UpCloud takes an afternoon.
UpCloud GPU Servers are standard VMs with free egress within the Fair Transfer Limit, so data can be copied out directly. Configuration is covered by the API, Terraform and upctl.
- 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank in Frankfurt or Paris with a persistent disk.
- 2Copy block storage data with rsync, and object storage buckets with rclone.
- 3Run your Docker images or pick a template, then delete UpCloud volumes and IPv4 addresses.
# 1. a GPU and a disk on GPUBank gpubank launch --gpu h100-sxm --region eu-paris --disk data # 2. copy your data from the old machine rsync -azP old-host:/workspace/ root@<new-ip>:/workspace/ # 3. run the same image or template ssh root@<new-ip> 'cd /workspace && ./start.sh'
A few things you might be wondering.
Slightly today. UpCloud lists the H100 SXM at $1.89 per GPU-hour excluding VAT, with block storage and IPv4 billed on top; GPUBank charges $1.85 with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic included. UpCloud has announced EUR 2.17 per GPU-hour on demand from 20 October 2026.
UpCloud bills GPU plans by the started hour. When a server is stopped the plan is not billed, but block storage and public IPv4 addresses keep billing. GPUBank bills per second and, on a stopped instance, charges only the persistent disk at $0.03 per GB-month.
No. UpCloud accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and asks for a phone number and billing address at sign-up. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins.
All UpCloud GPU Servers run in fi-hel2, a Telia data center in Helsinki, although the platform has 15 locations. GPUBank runs GPUs in Paris, Frankfurt, Ashburn and Singapore.
UpCloud. It lists a 99.999 % SLA on every GPU plan with credits of 50x the fees for outages longer than 5 minutes, and holds ISO 27001, the CISPE Code of Conduct and a PiTuKri audit. GPUBank sets a 99.9 % monthly target per region and publishes no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report.
Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for UpCloud and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
