GPUBank vs Gcore
Gcore is a cloud, CDN and security provider from Luxembourg, founded in 2014, that sells GPUs mainly as 8-GPU bare-metal nodes with InfiniBand, plus H100 Virtual GPU VMs and serverless inference. Its H100 SXM costs $2.50 per GPU-hour as the share of a $20.00 8-GPU node; GPUBank charges $1.85 for a single GPU. Gcore offers more regions, a 99.9 % SLA with credits, ISO 27001 and card payment; GPUBank bills by the second, bills only the disk of a stopped instance and takes crypto.

The verdict
Clusters, regions and compliance at Gcore. Lower prices and per-second billing at GPUBank.
Gcore suits teams that train on full 8-GPU H100 or H200 nodes with InfiniBand and need an EU contracting entity, a 99.9 % SLA with credits, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. For the four GPUs both of us rent, GPUBank costs 17 to 54 % less per GPU-hour, and Gcore's 36-month H100 reservation at $1.93 is still above GPUBank's on-demand rate. Gcore bills per minute, charges bare metal until deletion even when powered off, and bills IPv4 and bare-metal egress on top. Gcore takes cards, PayPal and bank payment; GPUBank takes crypto.

09The right fit
Different needs. A clear choice.
What Gcore does better
- Clusters of 250+ nodes with InfiniBand 3.2 Tbit/s set up automatically
- B300 at $6.60 per GPU-hour on an 8-GPU node, GB300 NVL72 by request
- Serverless inference billed per minute, H100 at $1.70 per GPU-hour
- 10 regions in 7 countries, including the UK, Portugal and South Korea
- 99.9 % SLA with credits, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and a published DPA
Choose GPUBank if
- H100 SXM at $1.85 on one GPU, against $2.50 as a share of an 8-GPU node
- Per-second billing that starts after the health check
- Stop an instance and pay only for its disk; Gcore bills bare metal until deleted
- Pay in Bitcoin, USDT and 12+ other coins, IPv4 and traffic included
- RTX 4090, RTX 5090, RTX PRO 6000 and MI300X, which Gcore does not list
Moving from Gcore takes an afternoon.
Gcore volumes, file shares and object storage persist apart from clusters, but local NVMe is erased on deletion. Bare-metal egress is billed at EUR 0.0013 per GB, so moving a large dataset out has a small cost.
- 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk in the region you need.
- 2Copy data from Gcore volumes or local NVMe with rsync before deleting the node.
- 3Run the same Docker image or pick the matching template, then delete the Gcore cluster.
# 1. a GPU and a disk on GPUBank gpubank launch --gpu h100-sxm --region eu-paris --disk data # 2. copy your data from the old machine rsync -azP old-host:/workspace/ root@<new-ip>:/workspace/ # 3. run the same image or template ssh root@<new-ip> 'cd /workspace && ./start.sh'
A few things you might be wondering.
Yes. Gcore lists the H100 SXM at $2.50 per GPU-hour, as the share of a $20.00 per hour 8-GPU bare-metal node. A single H100 Virtual GPU costs $2.60. GPUBank charges $1.85 per GPU-hour for one H100 SXM, with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic included.
Not on bare metal, which is sold as 8-GPU nodes only. A single H100 is available as a Virtual GPU VM at $2.60 per hour, or through Everywhere Inference at $1.70 per hour, billed per minute. GPUBank rents every model from one GPU up to 8 per instance.
No. Gcore lists credit and debit cards, PayPal, bank payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Alipay. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins.
Yes for bare metal. Gcore bills Bare Metal GPU servers from creation until deletion, even when powered off. A shelved Virtual GPU stops compute billing, but its volumes and IPs stay billed. On GPUBank a stopped instance costs only its persistent disk, at $0.03 per GB-month.
Gcore. It sets up InfiniBand at 3.2 Tbit/s on H100 and H200 nodes automatically and supports clusters of 250+ nodes, backed by a 99.9 % SLA with service credits. GPUBank rents up to 8 GPUs per instance and does not sell InfiniBand clusters.
Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for Gcore and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
