GPUBank vs io.net
io.net is run by IO.NET Inc., a Delaware company, and resells GPUs from partner datacenters and from its own decentralized worker network, tied to the Solana-based IO Coin. Its prices are dynamic: the io.net-network H100 SXM VM was listed at $1.99 per GPU-hour but sold out, a $1.19 Ray rate applies to a managed service on request, and the cheapest H100 you could book on 2026-09-29 was $2.60. GPUBank charges a fixed $1.85; io.net has a wider catalogue, takes USDC and cards, and sells managed Kubernetes and Ray.

The verdict
A wider catalogue and managed clusters at io.net. Fixed prices and per-second billing at GPUBank.
io.net lists 27 NVIDIA models and low network rates, but on the check date every io.net-network device was sold out, and the partner H100 you could book cost $2.60 per GPU-hour. Its rates can change while a booking runs, the first hour is charged upfront and not refunded, and billing then runs in advance in 5-minute blocks. There is no stop state or persistent volume, so ending a booking removes its data. io.net wins on catalogue width, managed Kubernetes and Ray, 24/7 chat and a $10 minimum.

Both sites as a visitor sees them, without an account: the io.net home page captured on 29 September 2026, and GPUBank's live board. Cookie banners and chat bubbles are closed; nothing else is edited.

- 1io.net/pricing returns a 404; prices live in the cloud console, the home page carousel and the IO Explorer, all visible without login.
- 2The home page claims H100s from $2.19 per hour; no live listing at that price was found on the check date.
- 3The console hides sold-out items by default; with Show unavailable, all 17 io.net-network devices appear as Sold Out with a Request button.

09The right fit
Different needs. A clear choice.
What io.net does better
- 27 NVIDIA models, from RTX A4000 at $0.15 to B300
- Managed Kubernetes, Ray and bare metal on request
- Confidential compute on H100, H200 and B200, as a managed service
- USDC and IO Coin top-ups with no fee, or cards, from $10
- Chat support, 24/7 per the contact page
Choose GPUBank if
- Fixed prices, where io.net rates can change on a running booking
- Per-second billing, against 1 hour upfront then 5-minute blocks
- Stop an instance and keep its disk, at $0.03 per GB-month
- IPv4 and all traffic included; io.net publishes neither price
- Terraform provider, CLI, Python SDK and a status page
Moving from io.net takes an afternoon.
io.net has no volumes or snapshots to export, so data must be copied off the booking's local storage before it is stopped. Container workloads use standard Docker images and move as they are.
- 1Copy your data off the io.net booking with scp or rsync before you stop it.
- 2Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk and run the same Docker image.
- 3Stop the io.net booking; unused IO Credits can be withdrawn after a finance review of 3 to 7 business days.

A few things you might be wondering.
For an H100 you can book now, yes. On 2026-09-29 the io.net-network H100 SXM at $1.99 per GPU-hour was sold out, and the cheapest available H100 was a partner VM at $2.60. The $1.19 shown in IO Explorer is a Ray rate for a managed service on request. GPUBank charges a fixed $1.85.
Yes. io.net sells IO Credits for USDC or IO Coin through SpherePay, with no fee, and for cards through Stripe with a 5 % fee. GPUBank takes Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins, and no cards.
Yes. io.net uses dynamic pricing, and the rate of a running booking changes when the supplier changes its price, with an email notice. GPUBank publishes fixed prices.
No stop state is documented. Stopping a pay-as-you-go booking ends billing and removes the booking, and prepaid time is forfeited. On GPUBank a stopped instance keeps its persistent disk at $0.03 per GB-month.
