GPUBank vs Hyperbolic
Hyperbolic Labs is a US GPU cloud that resells H100, H200 and B200 capacity from a network of third-party suppliers, self-serve on prepaid credits. It publishes only starting-from prices: the H100 SXM starts at $3.19 per GPU-hour, against a fixed $1.85 at GPUBank. Hyperbolic offers self-serve InfiniBand clusters and a $5 entry deposit; GPUBank bills by the second, publishes fixed prices for ten models and takes crypto.

The verdict
Self-serve clusters and a $5 start at Hyperbolic. Fixed lower prices and per-second billing at GPUBank.
Hyperbolic suits teams that want H100, H200 or B200 multi-node clusters with InfiniBand for days or weeks without talking to sales. Its prices are starting-from figures, refreshed weekly from the best supplier rates and locked when an instance is created, and the app showed no free capacity on the check date. It bills by the hour with no stop state, so an instance costs money until it is terminated. On the three GPUs both of us list, GPUBank costs 31 to 42 % less than Hyperbolic's lowest price, and bills by the second.

09The right fit
Different needs. A clear choice.
What Hyperbolic does better
- Self-serve multi-node clusters of 8 to 128+ GPUs
- InfiniBand up to 3.2 Tb/s, with VM or bare-metal nodes
- $5 one-time deposit to start, credits never expire
- No charge for instances that never become ready
- B300 listed in the docs catalogue
Choose GPUBank if
- H100 SXM at $1.85 per GPU-hour, against a $3.19 starting price
- Fixed published prices for 10 GPU models
- Per-second billing, and a stopped instance costs only its disk
- Pay in Bitcoin, USDT and 12+ other coins
- Named regions, a CLI, a Python SDK and a Terraform provider
Moving from Hyperbolic takes an afternoon.
Hyperbolic runs standard Linux VMs or bare metal with SSH and charges no egress fee. Termination deletes on-machine data, so copy it out or to a storage volume first.
- 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk in the region you need.
- 2Copy your data from the Hyperbolic instance or volume with rsync over SSH.
- 3Run the same Docker image or pick the matching template, then terminate the Hyperbolic instance.
# 1. a GPU and a disk on GPUBank gpubank launch --gpu h100-sxm --region eu-paris --disk data # 2. copy your data from the old machine rsync -azP old-host:/workspace/ root@<new-ip>:/workspace/ # 3. run the same image or template ssh root@<new-ip> 'cd /workspace && ./start.sh'
A few things you might be wondering.
Yes. Hyperbolic lists the H100 SXM from $3.19 per GPU-hour, a starting price that varies by region and configuration. GPUBank charges a fixed $1.85 per GPU-hour, with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic included.
Its capacity comes from third-party suppliers. The public figure is the best supplier rate, refreshed weekly, and the rate shown when you create an instance is locked for its life. GPUBank publishes one fixed price per GPU model.
By the hour, from the moment the instance is SSH-accessible. There is no stop state, so it bills until you terminate it, and termination deletes on-machine data. GPUBank bills by the second and a stopped instance costs only its disk, at $0.03 per GB-month.
Hyperbolic. It sells self-serve clusters of 8 to 128+ H100, H200 or B200 GPUs with InfiniBand up to 3.2 Tb/s. GPUBank rents up to 8 GPUs per instance and does not sell InfiniBand clusters.
Hyperbolic does not document crypto for self-serve accounts. GPU access needs a one-time deposit of at least $5 by card through Stripe. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins, from $25.
Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for Hyperbolic and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
