GPUBank vs Google Cloud
Google Cloud sells NVIDIA GPUs inside Compute Engine, as accelerator-optimized VMs with GPUs attached or as GPUs added to N1 VMs, in 34 regions. In us-central1 its 8x H100 SXM VM (a3-highgpu-8g) lists at $88.49 per hour, which is $11.06 per GPU-hour; GPUBank charges $1.85. Google has the wider catalogue, rack-scale systems, a contractual SLA and compliance reports; GPUBank is 74 to 83 % cheaper on demand and includes IPv4 and traffic.

The verdict
Breadth, SLA and compliance at Google Cloud. One sixth of the H100 price, traffic included, at GPUBank.
Google Cloud fits teams already on its platform that need GPUs next to GKE and its data services, 16-GPU VMs, GB200 or GB300 systems under reservation, or SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA paperwork. On demand in us-central1, GPUBank costs 74 to 83 % less on the H100 SXM, H200, A100 SXM and RTX PRO 6000. Google also meters egress at $0.12 per GiB and each external IPv4 at $0.005 per hour, while GPUBank includes both. Google has no on-demand B200 price, and A3 High VMs with 1, 2 or 4 GPUs exist only as Spot or Flex-start.

Google prices accelerator-optimized VMs per machine in us-central1; figures are the VM price divided by its GPU count, 8 on A3. The B200 figure is Spot, since A4 has no on-demand price.
Where Google Cloud publishes no on-demand price for a model, its lowest published spot price is used, as labelled on the row.

What you see before you pay.
Both sites as a visitor sees them, without an account: the Google Cloud pricing page captured on 29 September 2026, and GPUBank's live board. Cookie banners and chat bubbles are closed; nothing else is edited.

- 1The GPU pricing link redirects to a VM pricing page that states it does not cover GPUs; GPU prices sit on a separate page.
- 2Accelerator-optimized prices are per VM, not per GPU, with a region selector that defaults to Iowa (us-central1).
- 3Prices are given with up to nine decimals, and Spot prices sit on a separate page and can change once a day.

- 1Live stock per region and every price, without an account.
- 2Per-hour and per-second prices, with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic in them.
- 3A machine-readable price feed at /prices.json.

09The right fit
Different needs. A clear choice.
What Google Cloud does better
- 13 GPU models, from T4 and L4 to B200, GB200 and GB300
- GPUs in 34 regions across 22 countries
- SLA with credits, ISO 27001, a SOC 2 report and a HIPAA BAA
- Managed Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud Run with GPUs and bare metal
- Spot VMs, Flex-start and 1- or 3-year committed use discounts
Choose GPUBank if
- H100 SXM at $1.85 per GPU-hour, against $11.06 on a3-highgpu-8g
- B200 on demand at $4.15; Google lists no on-demand A4 price
- Single H100 SXM on demand; Google sells 1 to 4 H100s as Spot only
- IPv4 and all traffic included; no 1-minute minimum
- Crypto top-ups, no card check, support tickets without a paid plan
Moving from Google Cloud takes an afternoon.
Google Cloud VMs are standard machines, but moving data out is metered as egress. Terraform configs written for hashicorp/google document the setup to rebuild elsewhere.
- 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk, in Ashburn or the region closest to you.
- 2Copy data from persistent disks with rsync over SSH, or export disk images to Cloud Storage.
- 3Push container images from Artifact Registry to another registry and run them on GPUBank.

A few things you might be wondering.
Yes. In us-central1, Google's a3-highgpu-8g VM with 8 H100 SXM lists at $88.49 per hour on demand, which is $11.06 per GPU-hour. GPUBank charges $1.85 per GPU-hour, with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic included.
Not on demand. A3 High VMs with 1, 2 or 4 GPUs can only be created as Spot or Flex-start VMs. GPUBank rents a single H100 SXM on demand.
Yes. Premium Tier internet egress from us-central1 costs $0.12 per GiB up to 1 TiB per month to North America, Europe and most of Asia, and an external IPv4 costs $0.005 per hour. GPUBank includes one public IPv4 and all traffic.
Not on a Free Trial account. GPUs cannot be added until the account is upgraded to a paid billing account, after which the remaining $300 credit can still be used.
Google Cloud. It publishes a Compute Engine SLA with credits, ISO 27001, a SOC 2 report and a HIPAA BAA, and offers GB200 and GB300 systems under reservation. GPUBank publishes no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report and rents up to 8 GPUs per instance.
