GPUBank vs Denvr Cloud
Denvr Cloud, run by Denvr Dataworks of Calgary, rents NVIDIA, Intel and AMD accelerators from its own data centers in Calgary and Houston, as on-demand VMs or reserved bare metal. Its H100 SXM costs $2.30 per GPU-hour in its docs and $2.45 on its pricing page; GPUBank charges $1.85. Denvr offers a Canadian region, GH200 and Gaudi 2, and states SOC 2 Type 2; GPUBank costs less, publishes one price per GPU and takes crypto from $25.

The verdict
A Canadian region and a wider accelerator mix at Denvr. Lower prices and a $25 start at GPUBank.
Denvr suits teams that need compute in Canada, want GH200, Gaudi 2 or A100 MIG slices, or plan reserved InfiniBand clusters with sales support. For the two GPUs both of us rent on demand, GPUBank costs 20 to 30 % less per GPU-hour, using Denvr's lower docs prices. Denvr's own pages disagree on its H100 and A100 prices and on whether it bills by the second, minute or hour. New Denvr accounts are reviewed manually and top up at least $250 by card or invoice; GPUBank needs only an email and password and takes crypto from $25.

09The right fit
Different needs. A clear choice.
What Denvr Cloud does better
- Calgary region for Canadian data residency, plus Houston
- GH200 at $3.87, Gaudi 2 at $1.25 and A100 MIG slices at $0.58
- Reserved InfiniBand clusters up to 512 GPUs at 3,200G
- SOC 2 Type 2 stated in the docs
- Startup credits from $1,000 up to $500,000
Choose GPUBank if
- H100 SXM at $1.85 per GPU-hour against $2.30 to $2.45
- B200 and H200 on demand; at Denvr they are pre-sale or reserved only
- One published price per GPU and a clear per-second rule
- Email sign-up, top-ups from $25 in crypto; Denvr asks $250 after a review
- Interruptible and reserved rates published; Denvr has no spot tier
Moving from Denvr Cloud takes an afternoon.
Denvr charges no egress, but it has no user snapshots and root and local disk data is lost at termination. Filesystems keep billing after instance deletion until they are emptied.
- 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk in the region you need.
- 2Copy data from Denvr VMs or NFS filesystems with rsync over SSH, then empty the filesystems.
- 3Run the same Docker image or pick the matching template, then terminate Denvr instances.
# 1. a GPU and a disk on GPUBank gpubank launch --gpu h100-sxm --region eu-paris --disk data # 2. copy your data from the old machine rsync -azP old-host:/workspace/ root@<new-ip>:/workspace/ # 3. run the same image or template ssh root@<new-ip> 'cd /workspace && ./start.sh'
A few things you might be wondering.
It depends on the page. Denvr's docs billing page lists the H100 SXM at $2.30 per GPU-hour, its pricing page at $2.45, and the H100 product page text says $2.10/hr. GPUBank charges $1.85 per GPU-hour, with one published price.
Its docs say one-second increments, but its pricing and product pages say per minute and its AI Compute page says per hour. GPUBank bills by the second, from the end of the health check.
Denvr does not mention crypto. Pay-as-you-go accounts top up by card through Stripe, with a $250 minimum, and larger accounts are invoiced. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins, from $25.
Yes. Denvr runs MSC1 in Calgary and HOU1 in Houston, which suits buyers bound to Canadian data residency. GPUBank has no Canadian region; it runs Paris, Frankfurt, Ashburn and Singapore.
No. The H200 is reserved only, and the B200 is on pre-sale with no published price. GPUBank rents the B200 SXM at $4.15 and the H200 SXM at $2.49 per GPU-hour on demand.
Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for Denvr Cloud and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
