GPUBank vs Voltage Park

Voltage Park is a US operator of NVIDIA HGX H100 fleets, merged into Lightning AI in January 2026, that rents H100 SXM as VMs or 8-GPU bare-metal nodes and sells Blackwell systems on long-term contracts. Its pricing page says Contact for pricing, but its public API lists the H100 SXM at $1.99 per GPU-hour, or $2.49 with InfiniBand; GPUBank charges $1.85. Voltage Park sells self-serve InfiniBand clusters and holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001; GPUBank has more GPU models, more regions and billing that stops when you stop.

The verdict

Self-serve InfiniBand clusters at Voltage Park. Ten GPU models, four regions and cheaper stops at GPUBank.

Voltage Park suits US teams that need H100 bare metal on 3.2 Tbps InfiniBand, from 8 up to 1,016 GPUs without a contract, with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA documentation. On a single H100 SXM the gap is small: $1.99 per GPU-hour against $1.85 at GPUBank. Its self-serve catalogue is the H100 only, in the US only, and its public API showed no available capacity on the check date. Stopped Voltage Park instances bill at the full rate; a stopped GPUBank instance costs only its disk.

09The right fit

Different needs. A clear choice.

What Voltage Park does better

  • Self-serve H100 bare metal on 3.2 Tbps InfiniBand, 8 to 1,016 GPUs
  • InfiniBand nodes at $2.49 per GPU-hour, no contract
  • ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA in a public Trust Center
  • Managed Kubernetes add-on with GPU and MPI operators
  • B200, GB200, B300 and GB300 on long-term contracts

Choose GPUBank if

  • H100 SXM at $1.85 per GPU-hour against $1.99, with prices on the site
  • Ten self-serve GPU models; Voltage Park self-serve is H100 only
  • Stop an instance and pay only for its disk
  • Regions in France, Germany, the US and Singapore; Voltage Park is US only
  • Pay in Bitcoin, USDT and 12+ other coins; CLI, SDK and Terraform

Moving from Voltage Park takes an afternoon.

Voltage Park includes egress, so copying data out costs nothing on its side. Terminated instance data cannot be recovered and there is no backup obligation, so copy everything before terminating.

  1. 1Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk in the region you need.
  2. 2Copy data from the instance or VAST NFS shares over SSH with rsync.
  3. 3Run the same Docker image or pick the matching template, then terminate Voltage Park instances.
Start on GPUBank
bash
# 1. a GPU and a disk on GPUBank
gpubank launch --gpu h100-sxm --region eu-paris --disk data

# 2. copy your data from the old machine
rsync -azP old-host:/workspace/ root@<new-ip>:/workspace/

# 3. run the same image or template
ssh root@<new-ip> 'cd /workspace && ./start.sh'

A few things you might be wondering.

The pricing page says Contact for pricing, but Voltage Park's public API lists the H100 SXM at $1.99 per GPU-hour on VMs and Ethernet bare metal, and $2.49 on InfiniBand bare metal. On a 1-GPU VM that is $1.89 of compute plus $0.10 for the bundled disk. GPUBank charges $1.85.

On 29 September 2026 the public API reported zero available bare-metal GPUs and no VM location with capacity. Blackwell systems are sold on long-term contracts only. GPUBank shows its ten models with prices on its site.

No. Stopped instances are billed at the full running rate and take about 20 minutes to restart; only termination stops billing. On GPUBank a stopped instance costs only its persistent disk, at $0.03 per GB-month.

Voltage Park. It rents H100 bare metal on 3.2 Tbps InfiniBand from 8 to 1,016 GPUs self-serve at $2.49 per GPU-hour, with a managed Kubernetes add-on. GPUBank rents up to 8 GPUs per instance and does not sell clusters.

Voltage Park does not mention crypto. Deposits to its prepaid balance are by card or bank. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins, from $25.

Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for Voltage Park and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
