GPUBank vs Hetzner
Hetzner is a German hosting company, founded in 1997, that rents single-GPU dedicated servers from its own data centers in Germany and Finland. It has no H100: its top card is an RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q at 1199 EUR per month excl. VAT plus a 599 EUR setup fee, or $1.91 per GPU-hour at full-month use, against $1.15 at GPUBank. Hetzner offers a large dedicated host, ISO 27001 and invoice payment; GPUBank bills by the second, has no setup fee and rents H100, H200 and B200 with up to 8 GPUs per instance.

The verdict
Monthly dedicated servers and ISO 27001 at Hetzner. Data-center GPUs and per-second billing at GPUBank.
Hetzner fits a team that wants one RTX PRO 6000 or RTX PRO 4000 box for a whole month, with a 24-core Xeon, up to 768 GB of RAM, root access and an invoice. For the one GPU both of us rent, the RTX PRO 6000, GPUBank costs 40 % less per GPU-hour than Hetzner's full-month rate, before Hetzner's setup fee. Hetzner bills per started hour, charges a server in full until it is cancelled and adds a one-time setup fee of 209 to 1149 EUR; GPUBank bills by the second and keeps only the disk on the bill when you stop. Hetzner has no H100, H200, B200 or A100 and no multi-GPU server; GPUBank does.

Moving from Hetzner takes an afternoon.
Hetzner GPU servers are bare metal with local disks and no documented snapshot or image export. Data leaves with standard tools, and traffic on the 1 Gbit/s port is unlimited.
- 1Launch an RTX PRO 6000 or larger GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk in Frankfurt or Paris.
- 2Copy data and models with rsync or scp from the Hetzner server before you cancel it.
- 3Package the environment as a Docker image or pick a template, then cancel the Hetzner server.
