GPUBank vs Northflank
Northflank is a London container platform on Kubernetes, founded in 2019, that runs GPU workloads next to web services, jobs and databases, on its own managed cloud or in the customer's cloud account (BYOC). Its managed-cloud H100 costs $2.74 per GPU-hour and is offered only in 8-GPU counts; GPUBank rents a single H100 SXM at $1.85. Both bill by the second; Northflank adds a full application platform and SOC 2 Type II, GPUBank includes traffic and takes crypto.

The verdict
A full application platform and BYOC at Northflank. Lower GPU prices, single GPUs and crypto at GPUBank.
Northflank suits teams that want GPU inference beside their CI/CD, preview environments and managed databases, or that want to run on their own AWS, GCP, Azure or Oracle commitments. For the GPUs both of us list, GPUBank costs 21 to 62 % less per GPU-hour, before Northflank's disk at $0.15 per GB-month and egress at $0.06 per GB. Northflank's pricing page lists CPU and memory as separate line items, while its blog says the H100 rate includes them, so the all-in cost is not clear. Northflank takes cards only and needs a $50 credit purchase before any GPU; GPUBank takes crypto from $25.

Different needs. A clear choice.
What Northflank does better
- Git CI/CD, preview environments and managed databases next to the GPUs
- Bring Your Own Cloud on AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, CoreWeave, Nebius or Civo
- 17 managed-cloud regions, GPUs in up to 8 of them
- SOC 2 Type II and a HIPAA BAA on Enterprise

Choose GPUBank if
- H100 SXM at $1.85 per GPU-hour on one GPU, against $2.74 in 8-GPU counts
- vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and all traffic in the GPU price
- Interruptible at -40 % and reserved at -20 %, which Northflank's cloud lacks
- Pay in Bitcoin, USDT and 12+ other coins, no card
- Start from a $25 top-up, against a $50 credit purchase to unlock GPUs
Moving from Northflank takes an afternoon.
Northflank workloads are standard container images, so they run on GPUBank unchanged. Egress is metered at $0.06 per GB, so moving large volumes out has a cost on Northflank's side.
- 1Export volume backups and database dumps through Northflank's pre-signed URLs or to your own S3 bucket.
- 2Launch the same GPU on GPUBank with a persistent disk and copy the data in with rsync or rclone.
- 3Pull the same container image into a GPUBank instance, then delete the Northflank services.

A few things you might be wondering.
Yes. Northflank lists the H100 at $2.74 per GPU-hour on its managed cloud, in 8-GPU counts. GPUBank charges $1.85 per GPU-hour for one H100 SXM, with vCPU, RAM, NVMe, IPv4 and traffic included. A 40-hour fine-tune costs $74 on GPUBank against $109.60 on Northflank.
It is not clear. The pricing page lists CPU at $0.01667 per vCPU-hour and memory at $0.00833 per GB-hour as separate items, while Northflank's blog says the H100 rate includes them. Disk and egress are billed on top in both readings.
No. Northflank takes Visa, Mastercard and American Express through Stripe, with invoices on Enterprise. GPUBank is paid from a USD balance topped up in Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than a dozen other coins, from $25.
Yes. Northflank's BYOC mode manages clusters and GPU node pools in your AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, CoreWeave, Nebius or Civo account, for a fee of $0.00278 per GB of vRAM per hour on top of your cloud bill. GPUBank runs only on its own infrastructure.
Northflank. It runs managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis, Git CI/CD and preview environments beside the GPU service. GPUBank rents GPU instances with SSH, JupyterLab and Docker, and you run the rest yourself.
Without. Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax, for Northflank and for GPUBank, so the two columns compare like for like. Tax is added at checkout according to where the buyer is based.
